The origins of Ibla are very ancient and date back to the pre-Hellenic period. After the earthquake of 1693, the palaces houses and churches build anew were characterized by the strong influence of the Baroque style. In them the building workers expressed the search for caricature in order to astound strike and amaze. Today, Ragusa Ibla is one of the most fascinating pearls of Sicily and is worth visiting. Walking amongst the extremely narrow and charming alleys, which can only be travelled over on foot, in search of artistic gems is very pleasant and fascinating. For the stay we propose you a small jewel: the Hotel Locanda Don Serafino. Five rooms and five junior suite for demanding guests that required privacy and unique location. The luxury suite is exclusive space of 60 square meters digged out the natural rock. The two Michelin starred house restaurant is located in the bottom hill closed to Chiesa dei Miracoli (UNESCO heritage). The wine cellar offers more than 1.000 wine labels, spirits and cigar list.
